Mutton Biriyani

For the gravy
Mutton - 1/2 kg
Onion(Large)- 2 1/2
Tomato (Medium)- 1
Ginger Garlic paste- 5tbsp
Green Chilly crushed- 7-8 (if u want more spicy add more)
Lime Juice- 2tbsp
Garam masala - 2-3 tsp
Coriander leaves - a handfull
turmeric powder -1 tsp
oil - 2-3 tbsp
salt - as per taste

1. In a cooker add oil and saute onions
2. when the onion gets saute well add ginger garlic paste and green chillies.
3. when its raw smell gone add tomato and saute well .
4.when tomato  get mashed and oil starts coming out from the sides add mutton .
5. When water starts to come out of mutton add salt and mix well.
6. Put the weight on the cooker and cook in low flame for 30 minutes..
7. To the cooked mutton add garam masala,turmeric powder,and coriander leaves.and lime juice.

For the rice
Rice ( washed & drained) - 6cups
Water- 12 cups
Garam masala-2 tsp
Ghee- 2tbsp
Oil- 2 tbsp
Cinnamon,Cloves,Cardamom- Few
Onion- 1 tbsp
salt

1. Add ghee and oil to the pan .Splutter all the spices and onion
 2.Add rice to this and saute it for 2-3 minutes.
3. Add water and salt and .keep it on high flame til the water boils and become 3/4.
4. After that cover it and keep it on low flame till the rice cooks......
5. Sprinkle garam masala on top of it.

Mixing
Add the mutton masala to the rice and mix well. And keep it on low flame for 10 minutes or till the heat comes out of rice..Biriyani ready............
