Maida Halwa

Ingredients




Maida - 1 Cup
Sugar -2 Cup
Elachi (cardamom_) - 1/2 Tsp
Nuts ,Raisins ( fried in ghee)
Orange Food Color - 1 Pinch
Water - 1/2 Cup
Ghee Or coconut Oil - Almost 2 -3 Cup
Water -



Preparation


Make a thick batter using maida....keep it aside for 2 hrs........In a pan add sugar and 1/2 cup water to make syrup....when it come to boil add maida and stir well ........keep on stirring till all the water absorbs and get it thick,,,,,,,,,add food color and elachi....add the hot oil. Stir continuously on medium/high heat until the halwa separates from oil and starts to sticks together.Transfer to a greased pan . Cool down and cut into desired size.
